Plastic pressing and sintering - molded parts for demanding applications

Versatile solutions with PTFE, compounds and engineering plastics

Challenges in plastic pressing and sintering

Anyone who needs functional plastic molded parts is quickly faced with complex requirements. Different materials such as PTFE, PVDF, PFA or special compounds place high demands on the choice of material. Press-sintered parts not only have to be dimensionally stable, but often also resistant to chemicals, temperature-resistant and accurately processed. For prototypes or small series in particular, customers expect flexibility in terms of geometry and quantity - without long waiting times or time-consuming retooling. And when seals or special assemblies made of sintered plastics are required for industrial applications, absolute process reliability and clean documentation are essential.

Plastic pressing and sintering for individual pieces and series

Plastic pressing and sintering for individual pieces and series

We realize plastic presses and sintering from individual parts to large series - precisely tailored to drawings or samples. Modern powder presses and coordinated sintering processes are available for this purpose. Depending on the application, we select the appropriate pressing process: Direct pressing, isostatic pressing or hot pressing. This results in molded parts made of PTFE, compounds, PFA, PVDF or special engineering plastics, which also impress with complex geometries. We supply individually pressed seals, blanks, rings, bushings and special parts from small batches, which are then machined or integrated into assemblies.

Advantages of our plastic presses and sintering technology

  • Wide range of materials: PTFE, PVDF, PFA, engineering plastics and individually mixed compounds.
  • Flexible quantities: From single items to large series, quickly available and with short delivery times.
  • Individual geometries: Molded parts according to CAD or samples, including sophisticated assemblies.
  • Process reliability: Proven processes and documented production sequences for consistent results.
  • Direct further processing: Pressed parts and sintered parts can be machined, joined or assembled directly.
  • Use for industrial applications: From the chemical industry to food technology and mechanical engineering.

Project examples - Plastic presses and sintering in use

  • Pressing of PTFE seals for aggressive media in plant engineering.
  • Molding of PVDF components for the chemical industry that require high temperature resistance and media resistance.
  • Sintering technology for plain bearings and bushes in machines and special systems.
  • Production of prototypes from special compounds to make new products ready for testing quickly.
  • Series production of ring and disk parts for food and packaging technology.

Why our plastic sintering technology is impressive

The combination of modern powder technology, in-depth knowledge of materials and coordinated sintering processes ensures that every molded part achieves exactly the desired properties. During plastic pressing, a compact raw part is created under defined pressure and temperature, which is structurally strengthened in the sintering process. This results in components with a dense, homogeneous structure, optimum sliding properties or individual adaptation to special application conditions. Thanks to digitally controlled processes and close cooperation with the customer, projects remain flexible - whether short-term requirements, the start of series production or post-production.
